Community and in-home aged care workers, and people aged 50 years and over receiving Commonwealth-funded in-home and community aged care, are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccination.

There are several ways workers and recipients can get a vaccine. These include:

In-home and community aged care recipients aged 50 years and over

  • Participating GP clinic
  • Commonwealth Vaccination Clinic (GP respiratory clinic)
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Service
  • State or territory AstraZeneca vaccination clinic

People with mobility challenges are encouraged to contact their GP to discuss options for a home visit to receive a vaccination.
